How to Avoid Heartburn

Like most of us, you might occasionally overdo it at the dinner table. The result is often heartburn. If you suffer from heartburn, it means that your body doesn’t have enough digestive enzymes to fully break down all the food you eat, and that your intestines lack enough healthy flora or beneficial bacteria to process your food all the way through. Your body’s last line of defense is to use stomach acid to break down food, which can often cause heartburn. To control heartburn:

  • Avoid lying down right after eating
  • Add acidophilus, bifidus and enzymes to your diet
  • Stop smoking
  • Eat smaller, more frequent meals

If you still get heartburn, you can take extra enzymes from New Earth to increase digestion and decrease heartburn. It’s natural, effective and completely safe. Order enzymes and other bluegreen algae products at Prosperity Abounds.
